The site is the pitch, so it has to perform
We build fast sites, and make slow ones fast, so your site does real work before the first call - because it is often the first proof a prospect gets of how you do everything else.
What it actually is
Most practice and firm sites are slow, and not because of effort - because of architecture. They run on a heavy platform loaded with plugins, trackers, sliders, and scripts that each add weight the owner never asked for and no visitor benefits from. Your referred prospect loads that site cold, on a phone, often in a stressful moment, and a page that stutters and jumps plants doubt before they read a word. You never see that visitor in a report. They just bounced.
How it works, behind the curtain
- The right stack for your situation, chosen for speed. Often a lean static build (this site runs on Astro). Sometimes headless - your existing content pushing a fresh static build out to a CDN - or a builder like Webflow where it fits, or simply making the site you already have faster. The constant is performance, not one particular platform.
- Scores you can show off. Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse numbers that hold up on a phone, on a real connection, not just on your office wifi.
- Content that stays yours. Where it makes sense we keep content portable and version-controlled, but if you live in WordPress or Webflow we work with that too. The goal is a fast site you are not trapped in, not a forced migration.
- Readable by search and AI. Structured data and clean markup so both can understand your pages.
- Accessible and responsive. Built to work for everyone and to convert, not just to look nice on a designer's monitor.
Why ours is different
This site is the example, and we would rather prove it than claim it. We are not going to quote you a score to take on faith. Open your phone, run this page through Google's free PageSpeed Insights, then run your own. The comparison will tell you more than any number we could print - which is the entire point. The proof is the thing itself.
The core, not the whole story
Every build starts lean and grows only with what the business genuinely needs - more pages, more structure, an integration or two. It never grows with bloat, because bloat is the thing we are removing in the first place.
What you get
A fast, clean, accessible site that does real work before the first call, on a stack you actually own.
Common questions
- Isn't a fast site just table stakes?
- Yes, and that is the point. It is the floor a referral lands on, and a floor that gives way costs you the client before anyone reaches the part you are good at.
- Do I have to rebuild everything?
- Not always. Often the fix is structural - removing weight, or moving off a platform that is fighting you - not a year-long, five-figure rebuild.
- Will I be locked into your CMS?
- No, and you may not even need to move. We default to portable, version-controlled content, but we also run headless setups (your existing content behind a fast front end), work in Webflow, and are happy to make a site someone else built faster rather than rebuild it. The point is speed and ownership, not our preferred stack.
- Does speed actually help SEO and AI?
- Yes, indirectly. Core Web Vitals is a ranking signal, and clean, fast markup helps both search engines and AI assistants read and trust your pages. Mostly, though, it keeps a visitor from leaving before they convert.
